SCOPE & CONTRIBUTION
- Rebuilt the internal search logic for Used Machines, including fuzzy search, punctuation-tolerant queries, and “AND / &” handling.
- Implemented country-based filtering to prevent cross-region inventory leakage (NZ vs AU).
- Designed UI improvements to make search results feel cleaner and more intuitive.
- Optimised search endpoint performance for large datasets.
OUTCOME
Search accuracy dramatically improved, reducing user drop-off and giving dealers a more reliable inventory tool.
